General Art: This course helps students explore a variety of art materials and techniques. The elements and principles of design are utilized in imaginative ways to solve visual challenges. Art historical periods, methods, and diverse cultures are studied for inspiration to aid the creative processes. Course ACCN: FVB1000/FVB2000
Drawing and Painting 1: This is an introductory course covering the foundations of the basic tools, techniques and processes in art. Course ACCN: FVQ1000 

Drawing and Painting 3: This is an intermediate course with art history as the basic core for the class. Time will be spent on research, while the greatest emphasis will be on art making. A prerequisite is Drawing and Painting 1 and /or consent of the instructor. Course ACCN: FQV3000
