2024 Mililani High School Curriculum Fair

Are you interested in being part of an exciting new course offered by College Board? AP African American Studies is an interdisciplinary course that examines the African American experience from early African cultures and kingdoms to contemporary issues and achievements. It uses a variety of authentic source encounters to shift the focus of the African American experience from the margins to the center while embracing complex topics. The course emphasizes themes of migration, identity, creativity, and resistance, and prepares students to take the AP African American Studies exam.
